Facilities

U. of I. faculty, staff, and students are eligible to reserve iSEE’s facilities. Submit your request at least 5 business days prior to your desired meeting time. Evening or weekend reservations are subject to staff availability and require 2 weeks’ advance notice.

iSEE Conference Room, 385 NSRC

iSEE’s conference room is suited for small meetings and is outfitted with a large screen and camera for web conferencing. Up to 12 people can be seated around the conference table with room for more around the perimeter of the room. Reservations can be made by contacting iSEE at sustainability@illinois.edu.

iSEE Collaboratory, 337 NSRC

iSEE’s Collaboratory is a state-of-the-art learning and communications space designed to host university classes and meetings. It boasts the latest telecommunications technology and is fitted with multiple video and presentation screens. Depending on the arrangement of the room, it can comfortably accommodate 40-50 individuals. Reservations for semester-long courses, meetings, and events can be made by contacting iSEE at sustainability@illinois.edu.

iSEE Media Lab, 351 NSRC

The Media Lab is a full-service video production studio complete with multiple cameras, a green screen, teleprompter, studio lighting, and audio recording equipment. It comfortably fits one or two individuals on camera, and it has the capacity for up to four individuals in the studio when recording. Illinois Energy Farm

Researchers use this unique, 320-acre farm to grow bioenergy crops on fields that have the latest instrumentation for quantifying crops’ effect on biogeochemical cycling of carbon, nitrogen, and water. The farm has a 12,000-square-foot building with wet laboratories, sample-processing areas, and a teaching facility, as well as large-scale production greenhouses and isolated plant breeding areas.

Post Award and Business Services
Sarah Gerth and Ruth Johnson provide post award grant services, such as processing subawards, no-cost extension requests, and monthly and semi-annual financial reporting. Amy Rosenbery is the contact person for grant purchasing and travel requests.
