Engagement
At iSEE, engagement starts with bringing people together through collaboration. We convene researchers, industry partners, policymakers, and the public to explore the sustainability challenges shaping our communities and our future.
Through signature programs such as the iSEE Congress and Critical Conversations, we invite diverse perspectives to explore emerging issues, ask thoughtful questions, and better understand how research connects to real-world decisions.
iSEE Congress
The Congress is an assembly of the world’s leading scientists, researchers, educators, and activists from different disciplines who focus on global challenges of sustainability, energy generation and conservation, and the environment. These experts will present their work and discuss paths forward.
This free public event is open to everyone. Participants may choose to attend multiple parts of Congress, or just one.
Critical Conversations
iSEE’s Critical Conversations are forums for identifying solutions to grand challenges in sustainability.
Finding solutions to these wicked problems will depend on engagement and dialogue among stakeholders who rarely find themselves at the same table. To that end, our Critical Conversations invite engineers, social and physical scientists, politicians, lawyers, industry leaders, and nongovernmental organizations to an intellectual forum for discovering solutions.
